For the eighth article/pause with the endowment libraries in Makkah Al-Mukarramah
Endowment libraries in Makkah Al-Mukarramah:
The first famous ones are:
The Library of the Holy Mosque in Makkah, which was the nucleus of this library the collections of books, Qurans, and bookcases located in the Grand Mosque, included the following libraries:
1)- Al-Sharwani Library, which is attributed to its owner Rashid Al-Sherwani, the governor of the Hijaz, and it was annexed in the year 1346 AH. The number of its books has been swallowed up to 1362 books.
2)- The Library of Sheikh Abdul-Sattar bin Abdullah Al-Dahlawi (d. 1355 AH), the teacher in the Noble Sanctuary, and the collection of this library includes 1850 books and letters in manuscript and printed form.
3)- Al-Sayyid Ali Al-Kilani Library, which is one of the libraries that made a public endowment and was owned by the Ain Zubaydah Authority, and it includes 938 books.
4)- Library of Sharif Abdul Muttalib, one of the princes of Mecca.
5)- Library of Sheikh Saleh Iterji, one of the teachers of the campus.
6)- Sultan Abdul Majeed Library.
7)- Abdul Haq Al Hindi Library.
8) - Library of Judge Muhammad Muhammad al-Shanqiti (d. 1358 AH).
Sheikh Ali Hilmi Al-Daghestani has endowed many books on it, and many libraries have been added to it later, which we will single out in future articles, God willing.
Secondly / Makkah Al-Mukarramah Library:
It was established in 1370 AH at the site known as the Prophet’s Birthday. Its collections consisted of private libraries of some famous Meccan scholars and writers in the fourteenth century, which we will address in upcoming articles, God willing.
Third / Auxiliary Endowment Library:
